Bal Estate
Montagne Noire
Construction: 1983
This project for Peter and Kouka Bal, included one main house, and 3 smaller townhouses on the lower part of the generous lot.
The main house is composed of generous curves, domes and vaulted ceilings. Originally, the living room featured a sunken circular space accessible by stairs- a subsequent owner had to fill in the space to avoid injury to his wheelchair bound parent.
The vaulted ceiling above the dinning area feature the Dunbrick that so appealed to Villedrouin.
