The home of ceramicist Sabrina Armand Bennett was built for her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Scutt, in the courtyard of her parents, Jean-Claude and Elsa Armand. Originally, access was through the main house. A bridge and a private access lane were later added at the rear of the property to provide greater independence.
The house is distinguished by its vaulted ceilings and impressive height, which ensure abundant natural light and excellent ventilation. Villedrouin utilized the famous "Dunbrick" (5 x 6 cm cement bricks)—which feature a recess on one side—to create a distinctive rhythmic pattern across the surface of the vaults.
